In loving memory of Cameron Dimond: 1992-2026

Posted

It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the passing of Cameron James Dimond of Chehalis, Washington, who was taken from us far too soon on Jan. 27, 2026, at the age of 33.

Cameron was adored by all who knew him and will be missed beyond measure.

He was a dearly loved son, a present and devoted father, an attentive and dedicated husband, an amazing friend, a beloved colleague and an overall remarkable human being. There will be a Cameron-shaped hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, as he was truly one of a kind.

Cameron was born Oct. 2, 1992, at Fort Stewart, Georgia, to his loving parents, Ursula Parker and Trent Dimond. He was well traveled in his youth, spending his toddler years in Germany, his elementary years in Oklahoma, and his adolescence and early adulthood in Bradenton, Florida, where he met his wife, Tammarie, in middle school.

The couple moved to Washington after the birth of their first child and, in 2020, settled into their home in Chehalis.

Cameron loved adventure, exploration and constantly questioning his reality. He never feared the unknown, but instead challenged and investigated it. He enjoyed philosophy, skydiving, listening to classical music, researching, science experiments and building with his hands.

A silver lining to his tragic and untimely passing is the peace found in knowing Cameron has found his answers within the cosmos and beyond. His curious and free-spirited nature was instilled in his two children, who will carry on his legacy, along with their unborn brother.

Cameron is survived by his best friend of 18 years and loving wife of nine years, Tammarie Dimond; his children, Kalisto and Azalea Dimond; and a baby boy on the way. He is also survived by his parents, Ursula and Tim Labrie, and Trent and Michelle Dimond; siblings, Courtney, Keegan and Lexi Dimond, Athena LaBrie and Keaton Fraticelli; and many aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends and family members who loved him dearly.

We rest more easily knowing that one day we will join him in the great unknown. As Cameron would say, “From stardust we come, and to stardust we return.”

A service to honor Cameron’s life and legacy will be held Feb. 15, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 817 S. Vassault St., Tacoma, Washington 98465. All who loved and knew him are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
