Barbara lived a generous and loving life in Lewis County, from her birth in Centralia in 1931 to Carl and Evelyn Fors, to her marriage in 1953 to Raymond “Jack” Pollman, then a move to the Cispus area near Randle in 1966 with their children, John and Suzi.
Barbara spent many decades blessing choirs, groups and soloists with her musical talents, humor and generosity. She had a ready smile and an open, friendly nature and was loved and admired by all who knew her. Kindness was her trademark.
She is survived by her son, John (Mary) Pollman; daughter, Suzi (Merle) Core; grandson, Anders (Kacey) Pollman; grandsons, Adam (Jamie) Core, Tierney (Kelly) Core and Seamus Core; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Barbara’s constant prayer was that her family and friends would love the Lord, love one another, always be kind, quickly forgive, and live in harmony.
In honor of her specific wishes, no memorial service will be held.
