In loving memory of Amy Kristyn (Slimack) Ayers: 1971-2026

Posted

Amy grew up on the family farm in Cinebar, Washington, and graduated from Onalaska High School. She married in 2001 and blessed us with Myles, her pride and joy.

Although divorced in 2008, her love and commitment to Myles remained steadfast.

Her professional life was varied. She was an office manager, phlebotomist, casino dealer, medical assistant, devoted caregiver for her grandmother, and most recently a substitute paraeducator. She also sold her beautifully handcrafted wreaths and glass bead ornaments from her online shop.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claire and Jean Sherman, Marion McClusky and Frank Slimack. She is survived by her son, Myles; parents, Joe and Sandy Slimack; sister, Julie (Ken) Wiseman; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Amy loved animals, particularly rescue dogs, cats and horses. Donations may be made to The Asher House Dog Rescue or Onalaska Farm Sanctuary.
