In loving memory of Aaron Martin: 1965-2026

Aaron Wade Martin, 61, passed away June 1, 2026, in Olympia, Washington, surrounded by friends and family.

Aaron was born May 2, 1965, in Centralia, Washington, to Gary and Sandra Martin. His early childhood was happy and energetic.

Aaron attended Oakview Elementary School, Centralia Middle School and Centralia High School. During those years, he was active in local youth sports while also working weekends at Martin Sand and Gravel, the family-owned business.

Aaron married in 1985 and welcomed his daughter, Amanda Kaye.

After the sale of Martin Sand and Gravel, he entered the logging industry to support his young family.

Aaron loved life and spent many weekends bowling and golfing with family and friends. He was also an enthusiastic Mariners and Seahawks fan, attending many games at both the Kingdome and Safeco Field.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Martin and Henry and Adeline Rollins; his father, Gary Martin; his brother, Troy Martin; and his daughter, Amber Lynn Martin.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Spencer; his sisters, Kelly Worthey and Kori Smith; his daughter, Amanda Thompson; his grandsons, Kaiden Martin and Liam Krasowski; and his great-granddaughter, Lily Martin.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 15, 2026, at the family home, 105 Sawall Ave. W., Centralia, Washington.
