Twin Cities Lacrosse got its season started on Saturday, according to an email from the local club. “The inaugural games for our K-2 teams were great,” reported Matt Elsner of Twin Cities Lacrosse. “They played two separate White River/Enumclaw teams. Our team is mostly second graders from Chehalis, Adna and Centralia. The kids played hard for both games. At this level, they don't keep score. Twin Cities is going into its sixth season but this year marks the first with a K-2 team. The kids have focused on learning the basics of lacrosse while playing clubs that have been established for years. They showed great heart and effort for both games, earning high praise from the opposing players and coaching staffs. We are excited to help grow the sport in our area and give kids an opportunity to play. Go Lumberjacks.”
