In focus: Property developer shows off Cascade Apartments at site of former Cascade Elementary School

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the repurposed Cascade Elementary School that is now Cascade Apartments was held in Chehalis on Thursday, Aug. 7.

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce hosted the event. 

Northwest Property Managers, formerly TJ Guyer, manages the property. The historic school building has been converted into 51 luxury apartment units, nearly all of which have already been leased.

Each apartment features a washer and dryer, internet and a fully restored interior.

The complex also includes a fitness center and a game room, with the gymnasium expected to be fully restored and available for use this winter, according to a news release.
