Tina Perea was drawn as the winner of the 2024 Dodge Hornet GT raffled off by I-5 Cars in traditional fashion at halftime of the Battle of the Swamp football game between W.F. West and Centralia high schools on Friday night in Chehalis.
Local students and supporters spent the year selling tickets to raise money to support their programs.
As in previous years, I-5 Cars donated the vehicle at no cost and allowed groups to sell tickets for a chance at winning it.
Close to $100,000 was raised this year, bringing the total amount of money raised since the beginning of the program to more than $1.3 million.
The Pehls, owners of I-5 Cars, are always looking for ways to assist and support local youths and their schools.
