While the Hub City Cruisers originally moved the club’s Saturday car show from Fairway Lanes in Centralia due to there not being enough room, Schaefer County Park proved to be too small of a venue as well, club member Steve Hubbard told The Chronicle.
“We had 76 cars in total show up, and we had to turn away 25 cars because we just didn’t have room,” Hubbard said.
Hubbard said the club would like to return to Schaefer Park and expand the car show on a grass field next to the park’s parking lot.
