Holy Grounds Brew Temple co-owners James Docsanes, center left, and Kim Coombs, center right, cut the ribbon surrounded by family during their official opening in Centralia on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The business held a soft opening on Nov. 12, following a year of weekend renovations to the former coffee house and event center, Jimmie’s at the Cove. Holy Grounds Brew Temple offers a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, lattes, smoothies and bottled cold beverages, as well as beer and wine. The menu also features breakfast and lunch items, including pizza available by the pie or slice. Holy Grounds Brew Temple is located at 200 S. King St., Centralia. The name Holy Grounds Brew Temple pays homage to the building’s history as a former synagogue. The 100-year-old building has been beautifully restored, and while Coombs and Docsanes currently rent out the upstairs event space — now called The Temple Event Center — their long-term goal is to convert it into living quarters and relocate to Centralia Visit the Holy Grounds Brew Temple website and Facebook page for more information.
