The Olympia Handmaid Brigade Procession took place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, starting at the Port Plaza Tower for a peaceful procession in collaboration with the Fall of Freedom project. The Handmaids walked in a vigil through Olympia's downtown and waterfront "in defiance of authoritarian forces sweeping the nation," according to Fall of Freedom's website.

Handmaids held signs with 14 different messages about what fascism is and its impact on the nation.

"The handmaids vigil is an artistic act of resistance," the Fall of Freedom's website states.
