The performance is a part of the annual Dance Festival Northwest hosted by the Southwest Washington Dance Ensemble at Corbet Theatre on Saturday, March 21, at 7 p.m.
Dance Festival Northwest brings dance companies from around the Pacific Northwest to the Centralia and Chehalis area. The dancers attend Master Dance Classes together as a group and then each individual company performs dance pieces that they have prepared at a performance at Corbet Theatre in Centralia.
This year will include diverse forms of dance, including contemporary and classical ballet on pointe, modern and contemporary dance, jazz, ballroom, tap and hip hop. The host company is Southwest Washington Dance Ensemble from Chehalis, under the direction of Hollie McGovern.
Tickets are available at www.swwdance.org or in person at Southwest Washington Dance Center, 437 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis. Tickets will also be available at the door if the event is not sold out. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors 62 and up, students, military and children under 18. Tickets for the livestream are also available for $20.
