In focus: Cutting the ribbon at Enchanted Wellness in Chehalis

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce on Friday afternoon provided a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Enchanted Wellness, a women’s only gym in Chehalis.
Alyssa Borges opened Enchanted Wellness to create a safe space for women to exercise and take classes.
 
Borges has led group fitness classes for more than 10 years and transitioned into personal training in 2019 after the birth of her daughter, the release stated.
 
After seeing the lack of health avenues for moms in the area, Borges created Enchanted Wellness as a space for moms to be able to work out while also having a place to bring their children.
 
“I really wanted to focus on creating a space where moms can come and bring their kids. It’s a safe space where they can workout (because) being a mom shouldn’t be an inconvenience,” Borges said previously.
