In Focus: Cold War-Era Tank Arrives at the Veterans Memorial Museum
Onlookers watch as a M60 tank arrives at the Veterans Memorial Museum in Chehalis from the Lynden Historical Museum on Saturday, May 20. M60 tanks like this saw limited use during the Vietnam War but played a significant role in the Cold War being one of the most advanced heavy tanks used as a deterrent against Russian assaults in NATO countries, according to Museum Director Chip Duncan.
