The town of Bucoda changes its name by mayoral proclamation each October in time for a month full of Halloween-themed events.
There are offerings and events throughout the week, but the weekends are slated to be the most active, specifically Saturdays.
Saturday, Oct. 11, is All Things Pumpkin Day. Saturday, Oct. 18, is Boo-Coda Casket Race Day. Saturday, Oct. 25, is Boo-Coda Family Fun Day.
