Howard Stephen Soule, born August 9, 1924 in Oakland, CA to Edward Lee and Addie McCurdy Soule, died peacefully on Dec. 21, 2010. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lee and Stanley Soule and sister, Lucille Arnon.
Howard graduated from Berkeley High School and Pomona College. He worked in the family owned business, Soule Steel Co. for 35 years. He served as Vice-President/Administration & Secretary and then Director until the company closed in 1986. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in England and France.
Howard was extremely active in the Republican Party and numerous Republican political organizations. He fervently supported many republican candidates and was a collector of Republican memorabilia.
