The Lewis County Historical Museum is launching a permanent art gallery in the front atrium with the partnership of ARTrails. The gallery will showcase handcrafted pieces, including paintings, photographs, artisan bowls and plates, and hand-dyed scarves.

Current display items include paintings and small mounting prints from J. Krogh Colwell, scarves hand-dyed by Judy Kelley, stoneware and pottery by Richard Roth, photography taken by Dennis Blake, as well as dress pins and paintings by Karen McInturff.

ARTrails pieces will be changed periodically.

Each year, ARTrails holds an open tour in which members of the public can view artisans’ works at studios in the Twin Cities area.

The museum is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
