This past summer, Hampton Lumber reaffirmed its commitment to the Cowlitz River communities of East Lewis County through a series of impactful donations that support youth, education and the arts, a news release from Hampton Lumber stated.

At White Pass High School, Hampton contributed over $1,000 toward scholarships and youth sports, including the volleyball, cross country and soccer programs. These opportunities give students the chance to learn teamwork, discipline and perseverance while preparing them for future success, according to the release.

Hampton also provided $1,000 to the Onalaska School District for classroom safety supplies, helping ensure students and teachers have a safe, supportive environment for learning, the release stated.

Agriculture plays a central role in the Cowlitz Valley, and Hampton is proud to support the next generation of farmers by investing $6,750 this year in the Southwest Washington 4-H Junior Livestock Auction, giving local youth the opportunity to showcase their hard work, gain valuable business experience and reinvest in their future education and agricultural projects, the release stated.

Hampton continues to support the Fire Mountain Arts Council in Morton, which provides access to live theater, art education and cultural events that bring people together and inspire creativity across the Cowlitz Valley, according to the release.

“By investing in youth, education, and the arts, Hampton Lumber and community partners aim to ensure that the Cowlitz Valley remains a place where families can thrive for generations to come,” the release said.
