GreenSheen partners with Lewis County for paint recycling event

Posted

A community recycling event will offer Lewis County residents and businesses an opportunity to recycle paint and related items from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, in the parking lot of the Blue Pavilion at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds, 1909 S. Gold St., Centralia.

Organizers report that it will help them with planning if customers pre-register to bring items to the event, so they schedule enough staff and equipment. Residents and businesses can pre- register at https://circular.eco/event/lewisco26.

Pre-registration is not required.

Residents and local businesses can bring unwanted architectural paint products free of charge. The event is hosted in partnership with GreenSheen Paint, which will collect, process and remanufacture the recycled latex paint into paint products.
