W.F. West made the trek down to Portland on Tuesday afternoon and came away with a 162-180 win against Hockinson at the Heron Lakes Golf Course. Emmett Goodman fired an even par 36 to leave with medalist honors.
The rest of the scoring four for the Bearcats all shot in the 40s and were one stroke apart. Jax Potter carded a 41, Jamie Conzatti pocketed a 42 and Jayce Ayers turned in a 43. W.F. West will turn around and play on Wednesday against Shelton in an EvCo dual.
“This is a nice win for us,” Bearcats head coach Matt Klovdahl said. “It was especially nice getting the away win on a difficult course.”
