‘Give Hunger the Boot’: Chehalis Outfitters continues longtime charitable tradition

Chehalis Outfitters has launched its annual “Give Hunger the Boot” campaign in partnership with Georgia Boot, raising funds to support hunger relief efforts across Lewis County.

This year’s campaign will benefit the Lewis County Food Bank Coalition, helping provide essential food resources to local families in need.

For every pair of Georgia Boots purchased at Chehalis Outfitters, $5 will be donated to the Lewis County Food Bank Coalition. The coalition serves as a central hub supporting multiple food banks throughout Lewis County by collecting, warehousing and distributing food to ensure consistent access for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

The campaign is a longstanding tradition originally started by Sunbirds, and Chehalis Outfitters is honored to continue carrying it forward as part of its ongoing commitment to serving the local community, according to a news release from the business.

“This campaign means a lot to our store and to our customers,” said Kelli Erb, store manager of Chehalis Outfitters. “It’s more than just a promotion — it’s about neighbors helping neighbors. We’re proud to continue this tradition and support the Lewis County Food Bank Coalition in the important work they do every day.”

Community members are encouraged to stop by Chehalis Outfitters at 1757 N. National Ave. in Chehalis to participate. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The promotion runs through March 4.
