Friends Without Homes — a local volunteer nonprofit that provides outreach to those experiencing homelessness — will host its second “myths and facts on homelessness” forum at the Vernetta Smith Chehalis Timberland Library on June 6, according to Friends Without Homes certified peer specialist Lisa Striedinger.

“Guest speakers are a panel of community members with lived experience on homelessness and housing insecurity,” Striedinger told The Chronicle.

The forum will begin at 4 p.m. The library is located at 400 N. Market Blvd. in downtown Chehalis.
