The Friends of the Winlock Timberland Library will host a book sale fundraiser on Friday, June 20. All proceeds from the sale support the library.
The group provides funding for local library programs throughout the year, including supper and winter reading programs, teen nights and special guest programs like the popular Reptile Lady and author chats, as well as special purchases for the libraries on location needs.
The sale will take place at 300 NE First St. in Winlock from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All sales are by donation at the discretion of the patrons. There will be a donation box for funds where exact change is encouraged, as well as donations of used and new books in good condition.
Shoppers can find a huge inventory of fiction in hardbound and paperback editions perfect for summer reading, and there are always numerous non-fiction offerings on the shelves.
