Friday's 2A Girls Golf: Rochester, Centralia Fall to Aberdeen

ABERDEEN — Rochester’s Allison Beagley finished in third place, but it wasn’t enough as the Warriors fell 61-44 to Aberdeen in an Evergreen 2A Conference girls golf match at Grays Harbor Country Club on Friday.

Beagley finished the day with 13 points. Aberdeen’s MacKayla Waltee earned medalist honors with 21 points and Ryder Heikkila placed second with 17 points.

Shelby Baird scored 10 points and Elizabeth Miller, Alex Anderson and Kyra Darnell each recorded seven points for Rochester. Emma Green scored three points.



Centralia was also at Grays Harbor for a makeup match against Aberdeen, totaling 13 points. Tessa Smith recorded nine points, Ricky Hull-Camacho added three points and Montana Knapstad rounded out the Tigers’ scoring with one point.

Rochester will play at Riverside Golf Course on Monday against Centralia in an EvCo match.
