Karsyn Freeman scored 28 points in Winlock on Friday night to lead the Adna girls basketball team to a 67-13 win, the Pirates’ ninth in a row.

The Adna (12-1, 6-1 C2BL) press gave Winlock (2-10, 0-6 C2BL) fits from the opening tip, as the Cardinals committed the most turnovers in a game this season and the Pirates held a 43-6 lead at halftime.

The Pirate defense didn't let up in the second half, allowing just seven points in the final 16 minutes.

Kindyl Kelly was the Cardinals’ best option offensively, as she scored 10 points and also grabbed five rebounds and tallied three steals.

Kendyl Guenther led the team with 10 rebounds, while Tori Sancho and Madison Pelagio hauled in eight each.

The Pirates return home to host Napavine on Thursday, while Winlock will welcome Toledo on Tuesday.
