Four Green Hill School inmates are facing felony charges in Lewis County Superior Court for allegedly attacking another inmate at the Chehalis facility in November.

Charges against the four inmates, identified as Adnel Kenjar, Angel R. Lopez-Ledezma, Andre Vasquez and Adrian Mendoza, were filed on Dec. 28.

Each inmate faces one count of prison riot for allegedly taking part in a fight at Green Hill School in Chehalis. The charge is a class B felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

The date of the alleged incident was listed inconsistently in court documents filed in Lewis County Superior Court in December. Some documents list the incident date as Nov. 2 while others list the date as Nov. 30.

A juvenile inmate, who was not named in superior court documents, allegedly started the fight by attacking Lopez-Ledezma, according to court documents. Staff reportedly “intervened and separated the two,” with a staff member taking the juvenile “to the ground” and holding him there.

Lopez-Ledezma then allegedly “broke free and ran to (the juvenile) and attempted to kick him in the head.” Kenjar, Vasquez and Mendoza allegedly attempted to join the fight by attacking a restrained inmate, “but were stopped before they were able to throw punches,” according to court documents.

Arraignment hearings for the defendants are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 11.

The case marks the eighth riot at the Chehalis facility that was charged in Lewis County Superior Court in 2023.
