Exactly one year after losing the presidential election, former Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Portland.
Harris, who was the first woman to hold the office of vice president, will appear at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 5, as part of the tour for her new book, “107 Days,” which tells the story of that short and historic run for president.
Tickets to the event, which is in partnership with Literary Arts, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
According to a press release about the tour, in the book, “Harris tells the story of one of the wildest and most consequential presidential campaigns in American history.”
The book, published by Simon & Schuster, goes on sale on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
The former vice president will be in friendly territory when she comes to town this fall – Harris won Multnomah County with nearly 80% of the vote in 2024.
