Five Tigers hit double-figures in win over T-Wolves

Five different Napavine Tigers hit double-figures on Friday, and the balanced scoring effort led to a 72-42 win over Morton-White Pass.

The Tigers built an 11-point lead in the first half and doubled it by outscoring the Timberwolves 19-8 in the third.

Eric Bullock led the way with 14 points, while Layton Griffith and Hudson Chambers both scored 12. Tyler Watson and Tyce Vigre both scored 11, while Carter Edmonds scored seven and Beckett Landram added five.

Vigre added 10 rebounds for a double-double, and Griffith just missed one of his own with nine rebounds. Bullock had six assists, and Landram dished out five.

Logan Mays led MWP with 18 points and four rebounds, while Kohen Ingalsbe scored seven points and added six boards. Sebastian Gonzalez and Michael Biacan both scored five points.

MWP (1-18, 1-14 C2BL) will enter its final league game tied with Winlock for the final postseason spot. If the T-Wolves and Cardinals have the same result on Monday, when Winlock is in Napavine and MWP is in Adna, they will play a tiebreaker game in Toledo on Thursday.

Napavine (14-4, 11-3 C2BL) will host Toledo on Saturday.
