Express Employment Professionals will host April’s Business After Hours event and a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate their new location in downtown Centralia, according to a news release from the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place at 5 p.m. on April 17 with the Business After Hours following directly after. The event will be held at Express Employment Professionals, located at 115 S. Tower Ave. in Centralia.
Express Employment Professionals helps place workers with businesses, taking on the brunt of the hiring process. Owner Sam McCrady and her team are passionate about connecting people with jobs because of the doors that having a job can open, the chamber stated in the release.
“My favorite part of working at Express is helping people, because I think a job brings so much more than just money on the table. A job can bring purpose. It can bring value to your life and a sense of community … So the job is just the starter for all the other things in your life to happen,” McCrady said.
The ribbon-cutting and Business After Hours event will include games, drinks, food provided by The Hub, and a raffle with prizes.
The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce offers Business After Hours events hosted by chamber members on the third Thursday of each month. Business After Hours is an opportunity for businesses to network, collaborate, grow and connect with the local community, according to the chamber.
