While actors, ensemble members, stage hands and production crews of Evergreen Playhouse are still preparing for the start of their 67th season this fall when the season’s first play, “Prescription: MURDER — A Columbo Mystery,” premiers, some Evergreen members are passing the time until then with “A Little Night (of) Music” performances this weekend.
“A Little Night (of) Music is a cabaret event featuring the incredible talents of local performers from across our community. Experience a captivating collection of solos, dynamic duets, trios and inspiring ensemble performances that celebrate the magic of music and theatre,” the playhouse’s website stated.
Seats were nearly sold out for a pair of performances, according to the website, with 14 seats left as of Tuesday afternoon for both the 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, and the 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, shows.
Tickets are $25 per person. Patrons will get to savor “an elegant selection of desserts and beverages as you enjoy more than 20 beloved showtunes.”
The website added “semi-formal attire encouraged.” The Evergreen Playhouse is located at 226 W. Center St. in downtown Centralia.
