The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad invites friends and families to put on their spring bonnets and celebrate the Easter season on March 30 with a train ride through the Chehalis River Valley.

“This ride on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad is a family-fun half-hour journey,” the railroad said in a news release.

The excursion through the Chehalis River Valley features coaches from the 1920s and provides both indoor and outside seating.

Each train ride will be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.

“The Easter Bunny will hide candy-filled eggs in the field at the depot while you enjoy your ride. Covered and open-air cars will provide seating for the excited kids and their families,” the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad said in a news release.

Age groups for Easter Egg hunt are: up to 3 years, 4 to 7 years and ages 8 to 12. Kids should bring their own baskets.

The cost is $18 per person. Children 3 and under are free for the ride and egg hunt.

Between rides, the spring celebrations will also include fancy face painting, a delicious cupcake walk, and entertainment by Mr. Twister. A Taco Truck will be on the grounds to offer a bite to eat throughout the day.
