In the wake of Palm Sunday and with Easter coming up this Sunday, Easter egg hunts are currently being organized from the Twin Cities all the way out to Packwood organized by local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
The following roundup includes the times, dates and locations of egg hunts, with hunts planned not just for children, but for those of all ages, with the first being on Good Friday.

Friday, April 3
• On Good Friday, those of all ages are invited to the annual Easter egg hunt at Centralia Point Assisted Living and Memory Care, located at 2010 Cooks Hill Road in Centralia. The egg hunt will begin at 4:30 p.m., and those intending to come are asked to bring their own baskets and RSVP by Thursday, April 2, by calling 360-330-2010.
Saturday, April 4
• The Three Rivers Care Easter Egg Hunt at 1305 Alexander St. in Centralia. Doors open at 10 a.m. with the hunt starting at 10:30 a.m. A bake sale will also be available.
• The Toledo Market Fresh Easter Egg Hunt at 400 Cowlitz St., Toledo. The hunt begins at 8 a.m.
• The Easter Egg Hunt at Chehalis Outfitters, an in-store event at Chehalis Outfitters, located at 1757 N. National Ave. in Chehalis. The egg hunt is scheduled to run from noon to 2 p.m., with prizes inside the eggs along with special golden eggs with big prizes hidden throughout the store. Photos with the Easter Bunny will also be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• The Packwood Senior Center Easter Egg Hunt and Ice Cream Social fundraiser, at the Packwood Senior Center, located at 118 Huntington Road in Packwood. Participants are asked to wait until the Easter Bunny says “go” at 11 a.m. to begin the hunt, and following the hunt, hot dogs along with ice cream sundaes and floats will be available for sale at the senior center until 2 p.m.
• The Napavine Funtime Festival Easter Egg Hunt, at the Napavine High School’s football field, located at 404 Fourth Ave. NE in Napavine. The egg hunt begins at 11 a.m., as is being organized by volunteers from Lewis County Fire District 5.
• The second annual Mead Family Market Bunny Bash, at the Mead Family Market, located at 8136 U.S. Highway 12 in Glenoma. The egg hunt begins at 12:30 p.m., though special lunch options including Philly cheesesteaks, burgers and hot dogs cooked up by Mead Family Market available for sale from noon to 3 p.m. Bunny Bigfoot will once again be making an appearance, with photos with him by McKayla Eva Photography available starting at 1 p.m.
• The King Rancho Easter Egg Hunt, at the King Rancho Farm, located at 197 Pier Road in Chehalis. The egg hunt begins at 2 p.m., though the farm’s daffodil field will be open from 1 to 5 p.m., and the Easter Bunny set to make an appearance from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
• The Huntting’s Pumpkin Patch and Haunted Forest Easter Egg Hunt, at The Huntting’s Pumpkin Patch, located at 600 Cinebar Road in Cinebar. Separate egg hunts for different age groups will be held starting at 3 p.m. Featuring 30,000 eggs, admission is $5 per person, though children 12 and under get in free, and a special hunt for adults will also be held in the Haunted Forest. A food truck will be available with lunch options, and those planning on going are advised to get there early as parking is limited.
• The Flashlight Egg Hunt, at the Mossyrock Fire Station, located at 238 Mossyrock Road in Mossyrock. With fire station doors opening at 8:30 p.m. and the egg hunt starting at 9, participants are invited to not only bring a basket, but a flashlight too for a special egg hunt in the dark available to all ages organized by volunteers from Lewis County Fire District 3.
Sunday, April 5
• The Mineral Lake Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt and Bake Sale, at the Mineral Lake Lions Den Campground, located at 113 E. Front St. in Mineral. Gates to the campground open at 1 p.m. with the egg hunt set to start at 1:30 p.m., with the Easter Bunny available for photos. Bake sale proceeds benefit the Morton School District’s Food4Kids Backpack Program.
• The Easter Egg Hunt at Chehalis Outfitters, an in-store event at Chehalis Outfitters, located at 1757 N. National Ave. in Chehalis.
