Downtown Centralia is sparkling brighter than ever, according to a news release from the Centralia Downtown Association (CDA).
This holiday season marks a new chapter of festive cheer, as the CDA has unveiled brand-new holiday wreaths lining downtown light poles thanks to the support of community sponsors.
For the first time, the CDA secured sponsorships to help bring holiday magic downtown, filling the gap left after the traditional garland swag could no longer be used.
This year’s decorations were made possible by the generous contributions of Logistics Property Company (LPC) as the primary donor, along with supporting sponsors the Port of Centralia, the City of Centralia, the Economic Alliance of Lewis County, the Sports Hub, Thorbeckes and Express Employment Professionals.
“These wreaths represent more than just decorations — they symbolize community spirit and teamwork,” said MacKenzie McGee, CDA executive director. “It’s been so exciting to see downtown come alive again for the holidays. Thanks to our sponsors, we’re giving downtown new life this season and setting the stage for a bright, festive future.”
Visitors can now enjoy a cheerful stroll through downtown, where the new wreaths light up the streets and create the perfect backdrop for holiday shopping, dining and celebrating with friends and family, the news release stated.
As the CDA looks ahead, plans are already underway to expand the holiday display next year. Anyone who would like to contribute to the 2026 Holiday Fund can reach out to centraliadowntownassociation@gmail.com.
“Every contribution helps make downtown a little brighter,” the CDA stated in the release. “So grab a cocoa, take a walk downtown and soak in the magic — because Centralia is shining brighter than ever this holiday season!”
The Centralia Downtown Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and revitalizing Centralia’s historic downtown district. Through partnerships, events and community projects, the CDA works year-round to make downtown a vibrant place to shop, dine and connect.
