The Mason County sheriff’s office is searching for the suspect of a double homicide in the Hoodsport area who is considered armed and dangerous.

Police are searching for Robert Child, a 60-year-old man who is about 6 feet tall, 250 pounds and bald, the sheriff’s office said. He was last seen driving a white Ford with a standard cab and ladder rack. He may also have access to a gray 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 with license plate C76622L.

The sheriff’s department released images of Child and his vehicle on social media.

Anyone who sees Child or his vehicle should not approach, police said, and call 911 immediately.

Details about the homicide were not immediately available Wednesday morning, but the sheriff’s office says it is related to a domestic violence incident in the Hoodsport area. The incident is under investigation.
