The Mason County sheriff’s office has taken into custody the suspect in a double homicide in the Hoodsport area.

Police arrested Robert Child, 60, the sheriff’s office said. He had been last seen driving a white Ford with a standard cab and ladder rack.

The sheriff’s department had released images of Child and his vehicle on social media Tuesday night. He was caught Wednesday evening.

Details about the homicide were not immediately released, but the sheriff’s office says it was related to a domestic violence incident in the Hoodsport area. The incident is still under investigation.
