Demonstrators, vendors honored by Southwest Washington Fair Association awards

Shortly after the Southwest Washington Fair wrapped up in mid-August, the Southwest Washington Fair Association announced awards and fundraising results from its fair booth.

The fair association meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. inside the Historical Building at the fairgrounds.

Proceeds from the association’s fundraisers, which include a silent auction during the fair, benefit the fairgrounds and various fair programs. The association leads the Little Miss Friendly competition every year.

From the booth, “The Garden Buddy,” a wagon with other tools was awarded to the Jones family. Another prize, a $200 gift card for Shop-n-Kart Fuller’s went to Heather.
