The Beavers couldn’t slow down the Cruisers Tuesday night, falling 54-18 at Eatonville in 1A Evergreen Conference girls hoops action.
Bailey Anderson paced Eatonville with 22 points.
“We played good defense on her,” Tenino coach Scott Ashmore said of the Cruisers’ junior guard. “She’s not afraid to shoot, but we played decent defense on her.”
The Beavers’ main issues in the loss were turnovers and a lack of scoring. Tenino coughed the ball up 13 times in the third frame and managed just one point, helping Eatonville turn a 25-12 halftime advantage into a 43-13 lead.
Brianna Asay led Tenino with 9 points. The Beavers play at Mossyrock on Wednesday.
