Crash Near Tenino Closes State Route 507 for More Than 5 Hours

A two-vehicle crash near Tenino on Saturday sent one woman to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and closed state Route 507 for more than five hours, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The 45-year-old Castle Rock woman caused the crash, according to the State Patrol. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI, Trooper Johnna Batiste said via social media.

The other driver, a 49-year-old Centralia man, was hurt but not taken to a hospital, according to the State Patrol.

The crash happened just before 5 p.m. when the Castle Rock woman was northbound on state Route 507 and her Ford Focus crossed into the southbound lane at 174th Avenue Southeast and crashed into the Centralia man's pickup truck, the State Patrol said.

The car ended up in a ditch and the truck blocked a lane of northbound state Route 507.

The road was closed for more than five hours, according to the State Patrol.
