If you’re looking for a fun activity to do with your mother ahead of Mother’s Day on May 11, stop by the Lewis County Historical Museum on Saturday, May 3, for a “Craftea Saturday” at the museum’s second fascinator headpiece workshop.

The cost to attend is $20 per person, and the workshop is scheduled to last from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“We’ll have reserved time slots for each hour,” Lewis County Historical Museum Executive Director Jason Mattson told The Chronicle.

Though crafting materials will be supplied, attendees are invited to bring their own to customize their headpieces. Additionally, complimentary tea and cookies will be provided.

Those who purchase tickets can also tour the museum for free that day.

This workshop is being sponsored by The Shady Lady antique store and boutique in Centralia. Proceeds benefit the Lewis County Historical Museum.

Tickets for each time slot hour are now available online and can be purchased on eventbrite’s website at https://tinyurl.com/3dst4sdb. They can also be purchased in person at the museum during its normal business hours.

The Lewis County Historical Museum is located at 599 NW Front St. in downtown Chehalis. For hours of operation and more information, visit the museum’s website at https://lewiscountymuseum.org/.
