The Cowlitz Indian Tribe made a $1 million gift to Lower Columbia College and the Lower Columbia College Foundation, LCC announced Monday.
The donation will go toward supporting the foundation's Opportunity Can't Wait campaign, which aims to use public funds and private donations to create an LCC vocational center, provide scholarships, and improve athletic facilities, including David Story Field, according to an LCC press release.
