The Community Farmers Market of Chehalis will hold its annual plant sale and market preview from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 6 in Downtown Chehalis.
Plant starts, cut flowers, perennials, trees, houseplants and more will all be available, according to a news release from the farmers market.
Visitors can also get a sneak peek of the 2025 vendor lineup and preview some of the market goods that will be offered during market season.
Additionally, the release stated that Renee Hazen was the winner of the 2025 Chehalis Farmers Market poster contest. Her artwork will be featured around downtown Chehalis and throughout this market season.
Hazen is a local artist, and her other work can be found at www.instagram.com/naybirdbloom/.
The release also mentions the opportunity for a cause, organization or business to host its Kids Club Program.
The program works by offering kids between ages 4-13 a $2 token each week for completing an activity to spend on fresh produce at the market. Tokens, tents, tables and chairs will be provided by the market.
The market can also help create an activity plan if needed.
