Trinity Rebekah’s Holiday Bazaar

Nov. 12 at 111 W. Washington St., Napavine; Saturday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Vendors and crafts will be present and a quilt raffle will be held. On Saturday, turkey noodle soup will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $10. For more information, call Alberta at 360-219-7629.

 

Runway Boutique’s One-Year Anniversary Event

Nov. 12 at Runway Boutique, 383 NW Chehalis Ave., Chehalis; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Runway Boutique will celebrate its one-year anniversary. Owner Chante Evander will be present to celebrate with refreshments.

 

Corn Hole Tournament Fundraiser

Nov. 12 at Dick’s Brewing, 3516 Galvin Road, Centralia; 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Twin Cities Sertoma and Reliable Enterprises will host a corn hole tournament for the In-Tot Development Center to support hearing and speech screenings for toddlers. Registration opens at 11:30 a.m. and the event lasts from noon to 3 p.m. There will be beer and food, prizes, a raffle and four round robin games. The cost is $25 per person. The event is for those who are 21 or older.

 

Veterans Thanksgiving Meal

Nov. 12 at the Veterans Memorial Museum, 100 SW Veterans Way, Chehalis; noon to 2 p.m.

The meal is free and will be hosted by the Centralia Bible Baptist Church. Attendees are encouraged to register ahead of time at http://www.centraliabbc.org/ so enough food can be prepared.

A luncheon and fellowship for women. Jacki Jewell, the executive director of the Visiting Nurses Foundation will share about her organization. Berg Marketing Group Ribbon Cutting

Nov. 15 at 827 Marsh Ave., Centralia; 3 p.m.

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Berg Marketing Group on Nov. 15. Owners Amanda and Ryan Berg will be on hand to celebrate their grand opening with refreshments, apparel sales, marketing package discounts and a giveaway.

 

Charlie Albright Holiday Fundraising Concert for the Centralia College Foundation

Nov. 18 at the Corbet Theatre, 600 Centralia College Blvd., Centralia; 7:30 p.m.

World-renowned pianist and Centralia College graduate Charlie Albright will perform at a fundraiser for the Centralia College Foundation. Tickets are $40 for general admission and a limited number of VIP reception tickets with Albright are available for $75. All proceeds benefit student scholarships and the Charlie Albright Piano Fund.

 

Wreaths of Hope

Nov. 19 at 105 S. Tower Ave., Centralia; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The 17th annual Wreaths of Hope will include live music and vendors. Entry is $5 for one person and $10 for groups of two or more. Make and take wreaths for $25 each. All proceeds go to spinal muscular atrophy.

 

Twin Cities Rotary’s Turkey Bingo

Nov. 19 at the Eagles, 1993 S Market Blvd., Chehalis; 3 to 5 p.m.

It costs $12 to get 11 bingo cards, a dauber and a paddle. The first 10 games you win either a turkey ro a kids prize. In the final game you win cash. Bruce Kimsey and Peter Abbarno will emcee. All proceeds go to support the local community.

 

Harmonies For Hope

Nov. 19 at City Farm, 456 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis; 6 p.m.



The piano show Harmonies For Hope will take place on Nov. 19 at City Farm in Chehalis. The highest bid gets a song played and a higher bid can make it stop. New for this year will be a drummer “who will surely help pump up the energy,” according to a statement released by the Boys and Girls Club of Lewis County. In addition to the show, attendees will also be able to enjoy games, raffles, food and drinks. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tables of eight cost $800 and tables of two cost $200. Prospective attendees can contact the Boys and Girls Club about different ticket or payment options by emailing info@bgcchehalis.org or calling 360-345-1700. The City Farm is located at 456 N. Market Blvd. in Chehalis. Seating is limited so early registration is encouraged. All proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Lewis County. The public is invited to join Immanuel Lutheran Church for a traditional sit down Thanksgiving dinner. Transportation is provided, call 360-736-9270 for pick up information. Free loaves of sweet bread are available while supplies last.

 

Riverside Fire Authority Fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Nov. 25 at the Centralia Outlets, 1342 Lum Road, Centralia; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The local Firefighter Stairclimb team will be soliciting donations towards its fundraising goals for the 2023 Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

 

Shop Small 2 Day Market

Nov. 26 and 27 at Jester Auto Museum, 321 Hamilton Road, Chehalis; Nov. 26: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Nov. 27: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Santa will be present so families can come take their own free photos with him from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 26, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 27. Over 40 vendors will be present. Parking and admission is free.

Dueling Pianos

Dec. 2 at The Loft, 547 NW Pacific Ave., Chehalis; 6 p.m.

The Adaline Coffman Guild for Seattle Children’s Hospital will present the event to benefit uncompensated care. Individual tickets are $100, while tickets for a table of eight are $1,000. Sponsorship packets are available starting at $500.

Cascade Community Healthcare Legislative and Governmental Forum

Dec. 14; 3 to 5:30 p.m.

Local social service agencies serving Lewis County in mental health, substance use and housing will have the opportunity to address a panel consisting of legislators from the 19th and 20th legislative districts and local government officials. Agencies will have time to inform the panelists about their work and the need for their continued support. The forum is open to the public. The event will be in-person and will stream on multiple platforms.

Southwest Washington Dance 25th Anniversary Nutcracker

The Nutcracker will be performed at Centralia College’s Corbet Theatre on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 18 at 1 and 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $24 for adults and $16 for children, seniors and military members. Tickets are available online at www.swwdance.org. After Dec. 11 tickets are also available at the Corbet Theatre Box Office from 2 to 7 p.m. The Thursday, Dec. 15 showing is a “pay what you can” showing with tickets being sold at the box office beginning at 6 p.m.
