Napavine Funtime Festival

July 15-16, throughout Napavine

The Princess Napawinah coronation will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 15. On Saturday, July 16, there will be breakfast at Rebekah Lodge. Car show registration starts at 8 a.m. Parade lineup begins at 9 a.m. with the parade starting at 11 a.m. Immediately following the parade there will be games and events in front of Napavine Shopping Center.

 

Adna Car Show

July 15, 16 at 108 Bunker Creek Road, Adna; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Adna Car Show is back in 2022. The event helps to raise funds for Adna’s Scholarship Foundation. Pat Murphy and the Straightshot Band will play music Friday night, while the Backfire Band will play Saturday night.

 

Strawhat and Daisy Bazaar

July 15, 16 at 111 W. Washington St.; July 15: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., July 16: 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Join the Trinity Rebekah Lodge for a Friday lunch with scalloped potatoes and ham or a Saturday breakfast with biscuits and gravy with ham. Pancakes will also be available on Saturday morning for $10. A Saturday hamburger dinner will also be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with bingo to follow.

All proceeds go to the LC Rental Alliance and the Rebekah Lodge. Tables are available. For more information, call 360-219-7629.

 

Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic

July 16-17, throughout Southwest Washington

Bicyclists will pedal their way from Seattle to Portland Saturday and Sunday as the 200-mile cycling tradition continues. Lewis County community members can expect a heavy and steady flow of bicyclists, many of whom will stop for a break at Centralia College.

 

Lewis County Fire District 5 Craft/Vendor Fair

July 16 at 115 E. Washington St., Napavine, Station 5-1; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.



Lewis County Fire District 5 will be hosting a craft/vendor fair on Saturday, July 16.  Vendor spaces are still available. Vendors must supply their own pop ups, tables and chairs. Each space costs $25 and is 10’ X 15’ in size. Spaces are limited. The event will take place during the Funtime Festival and record attendance is expected. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. To reserve a spot, call 360-262-3320.

Children’s Nature Activity

July 16 at Seminary Hill Natural Area in Centralia; 10 a.m.

Folks are welcome to join two natural wildlife biologists as they teach about animals and their habitats using pelts, antlers, skulls and more.

 

L.C. Renal Alliance Dinner and Bingo Night

July 16 at Trinity Rebekah Lodge, 111 W. Washington St., Napavine; 4 to 6 p.m.

This event will include dinner followed by bingo. Both dinner and bingo each cost $10 with $5 for each additional playing pack. The event will also include prizes, raffles and snacks.

 

Packwood Music in the Park

July 16 at Packwood Community Park, 12935 U.S. Highway 12, Packwood; 6 to 8 p.m.

Vacation Bible School

July 18-23 at Chehalis Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 120 Chilvers Road, Chehalis; July 18-22: 5:30 to 8 p.m., July 23: 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Crafts, games, stories, music and prizes. Dinner will be included, along with lunch for parents on the last day.

 

Chehalis River Discovery Trail Work Party

July 20 at 1545 Goodrich Road, Centralia; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Join the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust to remove thistles, tansy and other invasive weeds near the trail. Water, snacks and other cold drinks will be provided.
