Comedian Kyle Kinane will headline a comedy show at McFiler’s Chehalis Theater on Friday, April 12.

Doors to the theater, located at 558 N. Market Blvd. in downtown Chehalis, will open at 5:30 p.m. for those wanting to get food, drinks and the best seats, as the show is general admission. The show is set to last from 8 to 10 p.m.

In addition to Kinane, comedians Neeraj Srinivasan and Jordan Casner will also perform.

Kinane is from Addison, Illinois. He has been seen on Conan, The Tonight Show, Netflix’s “The Standups,” and three of his own hour-long specials on Comedy Central. As an actor, he’s been in the Judd Apatow series “Love” and truTV’s “Those Who Can’t.” He also appeared on “Drunk History.”

As a voiceover actor, he was the voice of Comedy Central for eight years and currently plays Bullet on the Netflix series “Paradise PD.” He is also co-host of the Boogie Monster podcast along with Dave Stone, and the streaming show “Hey Girl” with Matt Braunger.

Kinane’s most recent standup work, “Dirt Nap,” was released by 800 Pound Gorilla Records in March 2024 and can be viewed on YouTube.

HUB Comedy has another show planned for later this month.

On Saturday, April 20, also at McFiler’s Chehalis Theater, The Dope Show will be hosted. Doors for The Dope Show open at 5:30 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m. The Dope Show is a 4/20-themed show featuring five comedians.

Those looking for more live comedy in the Twin Cities can find it at The Juice Box in Centralia, which is now hosting “The Juicebox Jokers” comedy open mic at 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday.

Up to 14 comedians sign up days before each event on the Juicebox Jokers Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61557836888953. The event is open to anyone who would like to sign up. Each comedian gets six minutes to test out new material.

“More established comedians have heard about this growing show and have been driving up to two hours to get their six minutes on stage at The Juicebox,” HUB Comedy wrote. “Each Tuesday, a headliner closes the show with a 20-minute set.”

The April 16 closer for the open mic will be nationally touring comedian Sam Miller.

The show is free to attend.
