While it was rainy and cold most of the day, some 60 or so attendees still enjoyed free hot cocoa and cider courtesy of the Lewis County Historical Museum and Experience Chehalis, which hosted the City of Chehalis’ Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 2.

Members of the W.F. West High School choir, directed by Angela Gilbert, performed Christmas carols while Finley Filer and Indiana Dickinson had the honor of lighting the city’s Christmas tree.

The Lewis County Historical Museum is located at 599 NW Front St. in downtown Chehalis.
