The City of Centralia Lodging Tax Advisory Committee is now accepting grant applications from nonprofit or government agencies for 2027 funding of projects that enhance tourism in Centralia, a news release announced.
The funding for these grants is the city's share of taxes collected on overnight stays at hotels and motels within the city.
The committee is particularly interested in projects that result in increased overnight stays in Centralia.
Applications are available at Centralia City Hall from the city clerk's office (second floor, 118 W. Maple St.), by calling 360-330-7670 or on the city's website at https://tinyurl.com/mt4rhtjm.
The application deadline is 12 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23.
