A 40-year-old Cinebar man was hospitalized at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after crashing his motorcycle on state Route 508 on Saturday, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Jess K. Galiher was traveling west near Centralia Alpha Road at about 5:45 p.m. when he lost control, crossed over the eastbound lane and came to rest in a ditch.
The state patrol listed speed as the cause of the crash.
Drugs or alcohol were not involved, according to the state patrol.
Galiher was wearing a helmet, but it was not compliant with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations.
