Christmas in July is coming to downtown Centralia from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, according to a news release from the Centralia Downtown Association (CDA).
Hosted by the CDA, this mid-summer block party on Center Street between Tower and Pearl will have classic games, hands-on activities, plenty of prizes and even snow. A snow machine will add a touch of winter to the warm summer evening, the news release stated.
A highlight of the night is the Taste of the North End, where guests can sample small bites from multiple local eateries for $5. All proceeds will directly support downtown revitalization efforts through the Centralia Downtown Association.
“This event is really just about having a great time and bringing people together,” said CDA Executive Director MacKenzie McGee. “It’s also a fun way for the community to get to know the CDA and the work we do to keep downtown Centralia vibrant and thriving.”
