Chehalis resident Rometta Anderson is preparing to celebrate her 100th birthday.
Anderson was born Dec. 8, 1923, in West Plains, Missouri.
A birthday celebration will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10. It will be held at the Newaukum Grange, 104 Brown Road E., Chehalis.
All family and friends of Anderson are invited to attend.
“In lieu of cards or gifts, Rometta’s wishes are if you would like to bring something, please consider bringing a canned food item to support Lewis County Gospel Mission,” her family wrote in a birthday announcement. “We are blessed to have so much, so let's bless others.”
