Chehalis Police Searching for Suspect Who Allegedly Shot at Someone During a Dispute

The Chehalis Police Department is searching for a suspect who allegedly shot at someone during a dispute in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard at approximately 1 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators do not believe the incident was related to a shooting incident that took place in Centralia earlier that night, according to a news release from the Chehalis Police Department. 

Officers have learned that the “suspect fired a firearm in the direction of the victim” as he was leaving the area, according to a news release. No injuries were reported. 

The suspect had not been located as of 11 a.m. on Thursday. 

The incident is under active investigation.
