The City of Chehalis Parks Department has released a survey looking for feedback on how to best reinvigorate Stan Hedwall Park.
The survey first asks biographical information, including if the participant lives, works or goes to school in Chehalis and how long they have lived there. It then asks questions about visits to Stan Hedwall Park, such as number of visits, reasons for use, reasons to seldom or not use the park, types of park features most important to the participant, most needed public recreation facilities at the park, and most important park improvements needed at the park. Participants can also explain how the parks department can make the park more enjoyable.
The final component of the survey involves funding, asking whether participants would support a levy for park and facility improvements and how much they would be willing to pay per year for a levy. It also inquires about participants’ interest in fundraising events.
